LinkedIn's alert emails are now read too, the same way as Indeed's: the companion mail tool saves each alert to a local folder, and Job Scout turns every job listing in it into a card. Nothing new reaches out: Job Scout never opens LinkedIn or the mailbox.
Built from real alerts, not guesses. The parser waited until real LinkedIn alerts arrived. Each job listing ends in a "View job" link, so the parser reads each one upward from its link: title, employer, location, and pay when the email shows it. Lines like "This company is actively hiring" or "6 school alumni" are skipped.
The link is cleaned before it's kept. LinkedIn's link carries tracking codes and a sign-in token. Job Scout keeps only the job's own address, so no token ends up in the saved list or on the page.
The first read turned three alert emails into 18 job listings. After repeats were removed (one job was in two alerts, one was already on the list from the employer's own job board), 14 were new. These alerts give no description, so they score low and wait for the AI models' triage.
