Top pick: one main choice per sound, alongside other approvals

  • The recording is the public web demo in today's look: an invented request with real public-domain sounds. A GIF carries no audio, and nothing here says how anything sounds.
  • ★ Top pick marks the main choice for a sound, while others can still be approved beside it. It's delivered first, as variant 1, so the game reaches for it by default.
  • Exactly one top pick per sound. Promoting another demotes the old one to an ordinary approval, never a rejection. The listener liked it; they just like the other one more.
  • The button was the small part. A top pick had to count as an approval everywhere, or it became a trap. The downloader counted only approvals, so the one file actually chosen would never have been fetched. And "Reject all unapproved" would have rejected it. Both were fixed before the button shipped, and tested in the live app, which was then put back exactly as it was.
