A fridge you open from the top, filled four ways, and a kitchen that talks

  • CHEF! asked for its fridge to open and to show how full it is. The first try swung a side door on the existing reach-in, and the Owner called it ridiculous. The second lifted a lid on the same body, and the handles no longer belonged to anything. So the fridge became a chest fridge, drawn whole: closed, half open and open for all four facings in one image, one lid with one handle on its front edge, the hinge and vent at the back. It replaces the reach-in everywhere.
  • Closed sits on its usual tile. Half and open need room for the lid, so they sit on a larger canvas with the fridge body in exactly the same place, and each facing keeps the scale of its closed frame.
  • The fill levels (a few items, half, most, packed) came from one more image, 16 pictures, each registered onto the open frame so the fridge itself doesn't move a pixel between levels.
  • Also delivered today: a chat bubble and 15 mood icons for the guests (heart, laugh, storm, broken heart and the rest), a plain order ticket the pass stacks one per open order, burner ignition and flame frames, the chef's knife, the toilet with its lid up and a flush swirl. CHEF! has every file with its hash, and wired the chat bubbles in its v0.0.179.
