Every agent card in Control Room now shows how full that agent's working memory (its context window) is: "599K / 1M · 60%". It turns amber at 70% and red at 85%, well before the point where the session has to summarize itself to carry on.
The figure is read from the end of each agent's own session record, and was checked against the app's own number for the same session: they agreed within one exchange.
Minimizing a card now actually frees the space. Minimized agents gather in one small tile at the end of their group, still showing their status dots, and the other cards move up to fill the gap.
