Job boards that offer no feed can still send email. Indeed and LinkedIn have no public job-listing feed, but both email saved-search alerts. The companion mail tool, the only thing that reads the mailbox, now saves each alert email to a local folder. Job Scout reads that folder once a day and turns every job listing in the email into a card: title, employer, location, pay, the short description, how long ago it was posted, and the email's own link to the listing.
Nothing new reaches out. Job Scout never opens the job board, never follows a link, and never touches the mailbox: it reads files another tool has already written. The listings then go through the same filters and scoring as every other source.
The first read turned ten alert emails into 82 job listings. 62 were distinct after removing repeats; 7 passed the filters. Most of the rest were engineering or sales roles the alerts' broad keywords had caught.
A listing whose location names only a city is kept and marked "workplace not stated", so the person reads it rather than having it dropped. Indeed is read so far; LinkedIn's layout will be added once one of its alerts arrives.
