The kitchen is drawn in one consistent top-down style: the fridge, stove, grill, prep table, kitchen sink, pass, drink station and dirty-dish drop all sit flush in the counter run.
The stove lights up while it's in use. Meat on the grill goes from raw to seared to flipped to done, then overcooked and burnt if it's left there.
Chopped ingredients appear on the prep table while a cook works. Soup is served in a bowl, and pots and pans show what's in them and when they're dirty.
Glasses show what's in them (water, soda or iced tea) and turn dirty when they're empty. Place settings use real plate art.
