Devlog · Job Scout
Three checks a day, and a demo anyone can click
- Job Scout now checks for new job listings three times a day, morning, midday and evening. Two sources allow only a handful of calls a day and the first run nearly uses them up, so later runs carry those sources' listings over from the morning instead of asking again.
- A public demo of the list page runs on made-up data. It's the real page, built by the tool from the demo fixture, and it runs with no server: marks and pasted listings work and stay in the visitor's browser, and a 14-step guided tour walks through the run's counts, the tabs, scoring, marks, triage votes, the vote register, pasting a listing and drafting. The build refuses to finish if a name from the real search, an email address, a phone number or a local server address turns up in a page. It goes live with NeptuneVibes.com's deploy.
- Copy buttons say when copying fails. They used to show "✓ Copied" even when the browser refused.
